Grey-rumped Treeswift family at open car park next to Queenstown Primary School at 7.30am. Singapore.
The Grey-rumped Tree Swift (Hemiprocne longipennis) chick sat comfortably in its bowl nest, strained its behind and out dropped a white sac (at the beginning of video). It then loosened up after relieving itself. Meanwhile mama looked restlessly around and summoned papa. Papa returned promptly and took over sentry duty. Chick opened its mouth wide and papa fed it with regurgitated food.
