The blue bronzeback is an arboreal snake in the Colubridae family. It is characterised by blue skin in between the scales on its neck. This snake feeds mainly on frogs and lizards. Like the other species of bronzebacks, this snake is long, slender and with a distinct head. It is also very swift in its locomotion.
