Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker feeding

Last week, Loke Peng Fai’s documented of a Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker (Dendrocopos moluccensis) feeding on some insects at Satay by the Bay.

On close examination the insects appear to be a colony of mealybugs (Family: Pseudococcidae).
