Crimson Sunbird feeding on nectar of Raffles Dischidia flowers

“During a guided walk on the Chek Jawa boardwalk on 14th March 2014, Ria Tan of Wild Singapore noticed a Crimson Sunbird (Aethopyga siparaja) hopping up and down the length of an ant-house plant, Raffled Dischidia (Dischidia major) growing on a coconut tree.

“It appeared to feed when it stopped. From the photos, it appears to be feeding on the flowers of the plant.”
