Birds feasting on alate termites at Etosha National Park

William Susanto‘s video clip taken at Etosha National Park in Namibia last year shows what appears to be a termite hatch with the ground covered with alate termites LINK.

Rollers, drongos and hornbills were there for a feast. “The birds were feasting non-stop.. at the end of it they probably don’t have to eat for another week.. haha,” noted William.
