Laura Hsu sent a video of a Crested Serpent-eagle (Spilornis cheela) having a juicy snack. The video was documented by Rebecca Teo at Mount Rosie.

Crested Serpent-eagle is a rare resident and only two birds are believed to be in existence in the Central Catchment Reserve. According to wildlife consultant Subaraj Rajathurai, this specimen is probably a visitor from Malaysia.
