The images clearly shows the bird swallowing the fig whole.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mark Chua&#8217;s<\/strong> image (left) shows the bulbul swallowing a frg from the bodh tree (<em>F. religiosa<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>An earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/besgroup.org\/2007\/06\/08\/common-yellow-stem-fig-and-white-leaved-fig\/\">post<\/a> showed that birds either swallow the figs whole, bite off pieces or mash up the figs before swallowing.
