Bridelia tomentosa\u00a0<\/em>is one of the best forest shrubs or small trees for birds. When fruiting, it attracts flowerpeckers, sunbirds, barbets, bulbuls and many other species. The fruit is 4.5-6.5mm in diameter, greenish when unripe and to bluish-purple when ripe.<\/p>\n Birds seen on this occasion are shown below.
