So far seven species of birds have been documented feeding on the nectar of the flowers of Golden Penda (Xanthostemon chrysanthus<\/em>) \u2013 see HERE<\/a> and HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the documentation of the juvenile Asian Glossy Starling (Aplonis panayensis<\/em>) feeding on these flowers, the total number is now eight species \u2013 not bad for an introduced tree planted along the wayside.<\/p>\n
