Soh Kam Yung was making his way back to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve Visitor Centre, due to the coming rain when he saw this small bee resting on a blade of grass and decided to take shots of it. As it turned out, it is a rare sweat bee, Lipotriches goniognatha. Spotted on 4 June 2023. It sometimes pays to shoot first and then try to ID later. 🙂

This bee is also known as the Angle-jawed Austral-Nomia.
