Crimson Sunbird – plumage

An image above to try and show the rump of the adult male Crimson Sunbird (Aethopyga siparaja siparaja). In some text it is said to be ‘yellow’ but in the A. s. siparaja it is more ornage.

An immature male moulting into an adult (above).

The next post (above) shows and adult with some moult.
