It had rained heavily the night before and the birds were hungry. This female White-rumped Shama (Copsychus malabaricus mallopercnus) was looking for maggots and worms at (unfortunately) a large rubbish bin.
I got near and waiting and gradually it became accustomed to me (the pull of the food source was strong). It allowed a close observation.
