Commonwealth Secondary School has successfully defended the International Green Flag Award for the second time, a prestigious internationally recognized and respected eco-label of school performance, from the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The award ceremony was attended by our Principal (Mr Ng Boon Kiat), President of Eco Club (Pei Yi), Eco Club teachers (Ms Lye Zhen Xi and myself), held at the NUS Shaw Foundation Alumni House on 12 November.

It hasn’t been an easy year for all and I wish everyone a blessed time ahead as we conclude the year in 1.5 months. To my friends in education, we have worked super hard this year. May all of us be recharged during our upcoming protected vacation leave and start the year 2022 with a fresh perspective. Please take care!
