Reticulated python (Malayopython reticulatus)

The reticulated python is named after the net-like pattern on its body. Its hide is valuable commercially.  It is a non-venomous constrictor belonging to the family Pythonidae. This is a heavy snake that can range in length from 1.5 m to 6.5 m. Pythons are known to swim well.
