Grey Wagtails (Motacilla cinerea) are not uncommon in the city during the migration period. You can come across them in large drains that are shallow, especially if they have some sand, or open partially waterlogged muddy fields. I saw this odd looking one recently. It had a pale, flesh coloured bill with a small section that was darker in the middle. It was also in moult.
Appreciate any opinions as to the reason for this odd appearance.
