
The rain came down fast and furious in the evening but it did not last long. It tapers off in a light drizzle that lasted for about an hour or more. And during this period of light drizzle the Red-whiskered Bulbuls (Pycnonotus jocosus) flew in to a wayside tree singly or in pairs (video below).
Unlike the Pink-necked Green-pigeons (Treron vernans) that stayed for about half an hour in the heavy drizzle, these bulbuls stayed only for less than a minute in the light drizzle before flying off. And during the hour that I kept watch, they flew in every few minutes alone or in pairs, to be replaced by others soon after they flew off.
