“There at least 3 pairs of Tickell’s Blue Flycatchers (Cyornis tickelliae sumatrensis) on a long trail into primary forest at one site in this reserve; more often heard than seen.
“This pair was nesting in a bamboo thicket. I managed some images of the adults under the dark canopy. The image above is an adult male, below are two images of an adult female.
“I have kept the current name and avoided ‘Indochinese Blue-flycatcher (Cyornis sumatrensis)’.
