Oriental White-eye and leaf bathing

A white-eye enjoying a leaf bath (video grab).

An Oriental White-Eyes (Zosterops palpebrosus) took advantage of the many rain drops found on the leaves of my Ornamental Banana (Musa ornate) to soak them up with its plumage.

Leaf bathing is a common method of feather maintenance as seen among flowerpeckers; munias; tailorbirds; sunbirds; etc.
