
Lynette Lim-Teagle installed a webcam in her nesting box where a pair of Common Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) regularly built their nest. This is the third year and most successful nesting

The female laid a clutch of 10 eggs. Clutch size varies geographically, from 7-13. Any clutch with eggs in excess of 18 may have been laid by two females.

The eggs hatched while Lynette and her family was away. Nine out of the 10 eggs hatched (see video below). Parents were busy feeding the hungry chicks mainly with insects and caterpillars.
The video below shows seven of the nine chicks are about to fledge.
