Dani M Queddeng’s documented a Rufous Woodpecker (Micropternus brachyurus) feasting on ants at the Chinese Garden in Jurong.
Rufous Woodpeckers feed mainly on ants (see video below). They also take termites and other insects. To a certain extent they also feed on plant products like fruits, nectar and tree sap.
