“A pair of Grey-headed Lapwing (Vanellus cinereus) preening and bathing in the very early morning light (above, below).
“Light not good for images but adequate for a video recording:
“As for feeding, very little information available while on migration or at resident sites.
“I have seen it feeding predominantly on mud flats (above) but will also do so in shallow end of a pool and in muddy grass (below). Deep probing, looking for earthworms and other insects.
