“Small flock of Pink-necked Green Pigeons (6-8) feeding on fruiting Muntingia calabura (Local name ‘Village Cherry’).
“They swallowed the fruit whole.
“Interestingly they did not go for the fully ripe discoloured fruits, but green-yellow ones. (Note: First 2 images from top are males, last 2 are females.)
“Also feeding on the same fruit were Yellow-vented Bulbuls (Pycnonotus goiavier analis), Lineated Barbet (Megalaima lineata hodgsoni), Black-naped Oriole (Oriolus chinensis maculatus), Asian Glossy Starlings (Aplonis panayensis strigata).”
