Common Flameback preening

“On the morning of 18th August 2015, a male Common Flameback (Dinopium javanense) was perched on a high branch and sunning itself, with feathers visibly wet from a recent bath (above).

“Over the next five minutes, it proceeded to preen itself systematically (above).
