Variable Squirrel licks nectar from jacaranda flowers

Johnny Wee photographed a Vaiable Squirrel (Calloscirus finlaysoni) licking nectar from flowers of Jacaranda (Jacaranda obtusifolia) at Bidadari.

An earlier post showcased Plantain Squirrel (Callosciurus notatus) feeding from Gelam tree (Melaleuca cajuputi) flowers. Another showed this squirrel taking nectar from banana flowers.
