Immature Verditer Flycatcher feeding on Common Mahang fruits

“I have been seeing a number of Verditer Flycatchers (Eumyias thalassinus) come to feed on the Common Mahang (Macaranga bancana) fruit over the past 2 weeks.

“Usually adults but today an immature. They are hard to capture with fruit in the beak as they fly up suddenly, snatch a fruit, return to new perch and swallow it. Seen numerous episodes over past 2 weeks.
