All along we have been using YahooGroups (BESGroup, pigeon-holes and nature-singapore) to communicate with members – mainly to inform them of our postings.
Now, thanks to Amelia Yeo, we have a Facebook page – LINK.
Anyone who has been following our daily postings would have known that we give priority to issues of bird ecology, especially bird behavior and the inter-dependency of birds, plants and other faunal groups like mammals, amphibians, reptiles, insects, etc.
After all, there are more to birds than just their names (see above and this LINK. And BESGroup is committed to knowing something about that bird, not just its name. Now in its 11th year of operation, we have posted more than 4,000 items on the subject – thanks to contributions from dedicated bird photographers, birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts in general.
