“It’s been a busy Lunar New Year week, attending to at least a dozen Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus chrysippus) eclosions, including this set of triplets on Tuesday (below).
“Most of the batch were ‘snake’ babies, but this beautiful baby boy eclosed at 7.58 am on the first day of the Year of the Horse – I have called him Pegasus (after the divine winged stallion in Greek mythology):
