White Wagtail and its image

on 18th November 2012

“I was in India on a pilgrimage recently. As usual, I would photograph some wildlife along the way. The White Wagtail (Motacilla alba) is a bird often seen when I was in the north-eastern side of India. They were often seen hopping on grass patches of gardens or perch on railings or rooftops.

“These image above was taken on the way from Bodhgaya to Sarnath. I was loitering around the car park area of a cafeteria while waiting for the driver to finish lunch. This cute individual was chirping loudly fighting its own image in the side mirror.”
