Through the kind office of Allan Teo, we received an image of a juvenile Black-shouldered Kite (Elanus caeruleus) that fell from its nest. His colleague Nicholas was doing a survey in the mountainous area around Limbong, Indonesia when the bird fell. It was picked up and fed. The bird would try to nip at whoever tried to get too close. No news of what happened next…
