Holiday in Perth, Australia…

on 15th November 2012

Lena Chow was in Perth, Australia in early Spring (end August) and brought back an album of bird images for her Facebook and a few videos below.

1. Yellow-billed Spoonbill – a coveted sighting for us, this one had us rooted to the ground in disbelief, as it fed hungrily by the roadside just opposite our hotel.

2. The ubiquitous Pacific Black Duck with her brood drinking together in a patch of water at John Oldham Park.

3. A family of Black Swan having breakfast

4. The Coot family, which Lena thought was the most engaging of all the ‘family feeding’ videos.
