Dato’ Dr Amar-Singh HSS‘s image of a Spotted Dove (Stigmatopelia chinensis) was taken at Tambun in Perak, Malaysia. The habitat was a semi-urban location with limestone hills nearby. It was during a bright mid-morning on 6th August 2012.
“Most birds like a nice bath and a muddy puddle will have to do at times,” wrote Amar.
