Munias feeding on pennisetum grass

Lena Chow‘s video clips of the White-headed Munia (Lonchura maja) and a Chestnut (Black-headed) Munia (Lonchura atricapilla) feeding on pennisetum grass seeds (Pennisetum sp.). Note how the munia picks up the fruit, manipulates it to get at the seed and discard the trash. This is clearly seen in the clip on the White-headed Munia.
