White Wagtail of Vietnam

on 19th March 2012

“Here’s a clip of a White Wagtail (Motacilla alba) I saw scurrying around at Ti Top Beach at Halong Bay last week. Wagtails bob their tails up and down, not wag them from side to side, so they really should be called Bobtails…lol.”

“…not sure whether the wagtail eventually went up into the vegetation from the beach. My previous encounters with White Wagtails were on roadsides and lawns, open habitats.”
