White-bellied Sea Eagle mobbing Grey Herons

Samson Tan of Manta’s Experience LINK documented a juvenile White-bellied Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) mobbing a Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) at Singapore’s Lorong Halus on 10th July 2011.

“We often heard of White-bellied Sea Eagle being mobbed by crows. I witness a juvenile White-bellied Sea Eagle harassed Grey Heron(s) at Lorong Halus this morning. After being chased for a few rounds, the Grey Herons must be tired and either dropped to the water or simply used water as an escape route,” wrote Samson.
