Lee Tiah Khee came across a female Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker (Dicaeum cruentatum) collecting spider’s web for its nest. The bird was busy flying in to collect bits of web, then flying off to the nest under construction somewhere.
This is a rare image as we often see the nest covered with the spider’s web and not the bird collecting it.
