Ingo Waschkies photographed an Orange-breasted Trogon (Harpactes oreskios) at Bukit Timggi, Malaysia recently taking a moth.
The food of this trogon includes a variety of insects, spiders, lizards, fruits, etc. It appears that it feeds more often from the ground than other species. It also joins mixed-species flocks.
This post is a cooperative effort between NaturePixels.org and BESG to bring the study of bird behaviour through photography to a wider audience.
