Peregrine Falcon mobbed by a crow

We recently posted an image of a crow mobbing a White-bellied Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster).

Now, Lee Tiah Khee has documented a Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) being mobbed by another crow.

This post is a cooperative effort between NaturePixels.org and BESG to bring the study of bird behaviour through photography to a wider audience.

I saw it today in suburban Bergen County, New Jersey. I was outside watching my daughter’s softball game and looked up to see two crows mobbing a small hawk. When they they came closer I realized it was a peregrine falcon. An hour later the falcon came back, still being harassed. This time by a single crow! I wish I had brought a camera.
